Dance Gypsies

8 x 32R for 3 couples in a 4C set devised by Moira Turner

1 - 6 1^st couple dance reels of three on own sidelines, 1^st couple dance out and down, 2^nd couple in and up to begin.

7 - 8 1^st and 2^nd couples continue the reel to change places.

9 - 12 1^st couple turn partner right hand, then 1^st corner left hand to finish in the centre of the dance on the first corner diagonal facing partner.

13 - 16 1^st couple and 1^st corners half reel of four, 1^st couple pass one another right shoulder to begin (corners dance out to right) and finish facing each other, again on the first corner diagonal (woman below her partner).

17 - 20 1^st couple turn partner right hand, then 2^nd corner left hand to finish in the centre of the dance on the second corner diagonal facing partner.

21 - 24 1^st couple and 2^nd corners half reel of four, 1^st couple pass one another right shoulder to begin. (Corners dance out to right.) 1^st couple finish in 2^nd place on opposite sides.

25 - 26 1^st corners change places right hand.

27 - 28 1^st couple cross right hand.

29 - 32 2^nd corners change places right hand and all three couples set.

Repeat the dance having passed a couple. On bars 31-32 of the 2^nd repetition, while 2^nd couple set, 1^st and 3^rd women change places right hand in the sideline as their partners change places left hand. 3^rd couple is ready to flow into the reels by dancing out and up.
