1-4 1st
man dances round his partner passing right shoulder to finish in the middle of
the set facing her.
5-8
1st man sets advancing into 1st
woman’s place then casts off two places
WHILE
1st woman
casts to below 3rd woman then crosses to 3rd man’s place
as 2nd and 3rd couples step up.
9-16 1st
man casts up the women’s sideline one place, sets, crosses to 2nd
man’s place and casts off to 3rd place
WHILE
1st
woman dances three right hands across halfway with 3rd couple
finishing in front of her partner in 2nd woman’s place (2 bars) (3rd
couple finish in original place on opposite sides), three left hands across
with 2nd couple finishing in 2nd woman’s place (4 bars)
and three right hands across halfway with 3rd couple finishing in
front of partner in 3rd man’s place (3rd couple finish in
2nd place own side).
17-24 2nd
and 3rd couples and 1st woman dance five hands round to
the left - on bars 19 and 20, 1st woman sets advancing into the
centre of the circle, which closes round her; 2nd and 3rd
couples dance four hands back to the right to place as 1st woman
sets on the spot on bars 21 and 22, turning to keep her back to partner, then
dances to 3rd woman’s place on bars 23 and 24 and remains facing out
WHILE
1st man dances once
round the outside of the circle anti-clockwise.
25-28 1st woman casts up one place
and crosses to 2nd man’s place as 3rd couple step down
WHILE
1st man follows his
partner, crossing the set then casting up to 2nd woman’s place.
28-32 1st couple turn by the left
hand one and a half times.
